Day of the Dead

I spent an hour browsing typography at the historic Salem Street Burying Ground today in Medford, MA. Some of the engravings are so exact and well-preserved that I had to touch the slates to convince myself they weren't painted. And the ligatures & abbreviations — forgive me — were drop dead gorgeous. Worth the visit.
